High Heat Labels and Tags for SEMI-FINISHED - BLOOM, BILLET, SLAB

Scaled and rough surfaces place the most stringent demands on heat resistant adhesive labels. In addition, at the end of the cooling bed the products still have a residual heat of up to 600C (1100F) and require high temp labels and tags. Barcode Identification of semi-finished goods is an indispensable requirement for the cost conscious producer. Quality assurance and material management reduce costs and assure customer satisfaction. +++Printable with standard office printers selling at below $1000. Feel free to contact us for questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Which temperatures do your high temp labels and tags withstand?

At the end of the cooling bed, semi-finished steel can still have residual heat of up to 600 °C (1100 °F). Our high temp tags and labels are made for these conditions; the 7940 label is rated for heat up to 800 °F.

Do the labels stick on scaled or rough steel surfaces?

Yes. Scaled and rough surfaces are the toughest test for heat resistant adhesive labels. We offer labels for hot bars, for porous surfaces (7920) and for uneven surfaces.

Do I need a special printer?

No. The labels and tags are printable with standard office printers that cost less than $1000.

Which products are they used on?

Semi-finished steel such as blooms, billets and slabs, as well as hot bars and aluminum products.

How do I attach a large high heat tag?

Large size high heat tags are attached with our steel tag attachment Clip #8010.

Why use barcode labels on semi-finished goods?

Barcode identification supports quality assurance and material management, which reduces costs and keeps customers satisfied.

Can I get free samples before ordering?

Yes. Contact us at info@itisupplies.com or +1-305-393-8669 for free samples or a free consultation on your labeling application.

What if my size is not listed?

There are many possible sizes. Tell us your required size and we will recommend the most economical standard size and material closest to your needs. Most products can be customized.
